about

Harvest Home mentions the Summer Solstice in its lyrics. It is a love song that follows the pagan calendar with a good harvest being what is most desired each year.

lyrics

Many roads I have travelled, Many hard times I have known, Carrying the weight of the world, And feeling so alone. I don't know what it is about you, maybe I know you from another life that's flown, Whatever it is, I don't want to lose you, Don't leave me here to weep and moan.

Bring my harvest home.

Won't you come and stay with me, Won't you come and stay with me, Won't you come and stay with me, Be my one true love.

Now you see who I am, as you gaze into my eyes, And I see who you are, And I'll never tell you lies.We met again in springtime, When the daffodils had grown, With the warmth of summer sunshine, Bring my harvest home, From the time of Summer Solstice, Bring my harvest home.
